A practical hand for the people who help others
Care2Drive is a UK initiative that helps neighbourhood heroes pass their driving test. They already turn up for neighbours, friends and family. A licence lets them get there sooner, go further, and reach more of the people who count on them.
What we do
We fund lessons, theory support and test fees
We match neighbourhood heroes with volunteer and partner driving instructors, cover the cost of lessons and tests where we can, and provide study materials so theory isn't a stumbling block.
Who we help
Neighbourhood heroes across the UK
Neighbourhood heroes and people who already give their time to others, and will cover more ground once they can drive there themselves.
How we work
Honest, careful, and small enough to listen
We're a small initiative. Every pound we raise goes towards lessons, materials and tests for neighbourhood heroes: not glossy campaigns. We tell the truth about our impact and we will never inflate a number to make ourselves look bigger.
