Is Care2Drive a registered charity?
No. Care2Drive is currently a UK not-for-profit initiative. That means we cannot offer Gift Aid and donations are not tax-deductible. We're upfront about this so you always know exactly what your gift is doing.
How are donations spent?
Donations fund driving lessons, theory and practical test fees, and study materials for volunteer carers. We are a small operation and aim to direct as much as possible to direct learner support.
Can I sponsor a specific carer?
Yes. Use the Sponsor a Carer page to tell us what you'd like to fund. We'll match your sponsorship to a carer and keep you updated.
I'm a driving instructor: can I help?
Absolutely. Volunteer hours or discounted rates make an enormous difference. Sign up on the Instructor Sign-Up page.
How do I apply for support as a carer?
Use the Apply for Support page. We'll review your application and get back to you within a couple of weeks.
Is my payment secure?
Yes. Card payments will be processed via Stripe, which is PCI-compliant. Apple Pay and Google Pay will be available at checkout.
Can I cancel a monthly donation?
Yes, anytime. You'll be able to manage your monthly donation from the email receipt we send after your first payment.
